Hello Friends and Family!
First of all, I want to say that I love each and everyone of you and I know that God loves each and every one of you and he thinks, cares, and inspires others to help you and love you. Second of all, I am sorry that I have not been very good at sending emails. My church doesn't have wifi so I can only use the computer sometimes and I have to do group emails on the computer and not the phone. Sorry!

I am happy and healthy and I love serving in the Sacheon area. If you didn't know, this area is the biggest area in my mission and it takes about 3 hours on a bus to get from one edge to the other. We do a lot of traveling here and talk to a bunch of people on the bus all the time. It will be weird to come back from my mission, and not talk to everyone on the bus. We sometimes talk to big groups of old people because they all love us so we get to preach the gospel that way a little bit. But can I just say that my area is just so pretty! Having a bunch of little islands is just so much fun and very peaceful.

This week on Friday we accidentally hitch hiked with a drunk guy. It was super scary, but in the end after a lot of prayers, we stop the car and got a ride with the drunk guys friends. The drunk guy apparently was rich so he laced us up with 50 bucks that we told him we couldn't take, but he made us take it anyway. I wasn't complaining though because the next day we got to go to Outback for elder Skousen's birthday. #thelordprovides. We travel so frequently that we are out of money for this month which will be an adventure. Gotta be creative in the ways we cook our rice this week. Maybe add some salt to make it yummier haha.

The big miracle of this week though was we got to baptized two of our amazing friends. I really can truly call them my friends. Jinhoo is a middle school student with a soft heart. He as a rough background and has been prepared to receive the gospel. I love him so much and we only met him a little less than 4 weeks ago! Songyoon is literally the exact same age as me and is such a hoot! He will be a great member and a life long friend I think. SO LUCKY to have met him and finished was many many missionaries have taught him. It's been a long time, almost 4 years, since he first met the missionaries. I am so grateful for the certain talents and gifts the Lord has given elder skousen and I to help him overcome his trials and help him rely on the Savior. So excited to see him progress in the Gospel!

Yesterday, I thought about my baptism a lot and how special it was for me. It is really so awesome how we can help people make covenants with God! I am so grateful for my parents and how they have taught me how to keep them faithfully and I am so grateful now that I have the tools and knowledge to assist others in understanding, keeping, and magnifying there covenants!

I hope you have a great week!

Elder Meeks
